The Padma Resort Ubud and its sister property, the Padma Resort Legian, are five-star accommodations located on the beautiful island of Bali in Indonesia.
The properties’ e-commerce executive, Dewi Sekarini, has always had to work hard to entice guests to travel the extra mile to The Padma Resort Ubud. This secluded luxury resort is tucked away in the unspoiled forests of Payangan, a half-hour drive from Ubud’s bustling cultural center. Dewi often relied on package discounts that included airport transfers and special offers to attract bookings.
When COVID-19 hit, she saw occupancy rates were falling at both properties. To maximize the hotels’ occupancy rates and revenue, Dewi needed real-time market data to inform her pricing strategy and make sure her rates were competitive with other resorts in the region.
