Located near downtown Nashville, Brentwood Suites is a popular destination for nightlife enthusiasts and business travelers.
When the pandemic hit, general manager Greg Lewis watched as dozens of local hotels closed their doors.
Fortunately, the Brentwood Suites was able to stay open and fully staffed through COVID-19. But that didn’t stop Greg and his team from doing everything they could to appeal to guests as travel started to pick back up.
They offered enhanced cleaning practices. They reached out to past guests. But it wasn’t enough.
Greg realized that he needed to increase the property's listing visibility in traveler search results to capture more bookings.

General Manager, Brentwood Suites
As soon as Greg learned about our Revive and Relief program, an initiative to help properties impacted by the pandemic, he signed up.
As part of the program’s benefits, Greg received Accelerator credits. These are designed to help boost a property's visibility in search results simply by increasing the compensation rate on resulting reservations.
To guide his COVID-19 recovery plan, Greg paid close attention to guest trends. He started to see more reservations with shorter booking windows, so he created an Accelerator to target last-minute travelers searching for properties on the Expedia mobile app.
These strategies helped boost Brentwood Suites’ listing in the sort rank and capture an average of 21 new bookings per day.
To continue his COVID-19 recovery plan, Greg added inventory well into 2021. He also set up an Accelerator to ensure his listing would rank higher in travelers’ searches.
This strategy helped him take advantage of his remaining Revive and Relief Accelerator credits in 2020 while actively rebuilding his business for 2021.
With inventory loaded and multiple Accelerators running, Greg ensured Brentwood Suites would be front and center in search results — and primed to capture the pent-up demand for short-term and long-term travel.
